Discrimination In The Schools

This story concerning discrimination in the school system should send alarm bells off to the highest levels of any school system. I believe that it emphasizes the lack of education our school systems have in the area of LGBT and even more poignantly, their general reluctance to intervene. It is truly a sad state of affairs for all LGB and particularly trans students. I feel it is fair to ask "Where are the adults?" why are they not protecting our children but equally, why are they not protecting the human rights of these children. Do they believe that human rights protections are only extended to their personal belief systems? If so, they should lose their jobs if they cant justify their actions or lack of action.
