About Me

Wall of Shame

This page is dedicated to those Businesses, Organizations and Individuals who have publicly opposed, in whole or in part, by direct action or omission, equality and Human Rights for all in Canada.  Congratulations on this stellar achievement!

The Conservative Party of Canada.

  • Removing support for Women's Rights.

  • Withdrawal of the Court Challenges Program.

  • Failure to promote Bill C-389 in the House of Commons and voting against it.

  • Failure to stand up for and promote Human Rights nationally and internationally.

  • Changing Healthcare Funding formulas that will reduce delivery and services to Canadians at large, and doing so without negotiation with the provincial stakeholders in this process.

  • Continued failure to correct the inequities experienced by our First Nations peoples.

The Ontario Liberal Party.

  • THREE times failing to promote Toby's Act that would have provided protections for Transgender under the Ontario Human Rights Act.

  • Hon. Dalton McGuinty MPP (Lib) for failure in his role as Premier to champion Human Rights in Ontario.

The Liberal Party of Canada.

  • For failing to find a Senator to champion Bill C-389 through the Senate.  Shameful, since they supported it through the House and Committee stages.  Really, where do they stand?

Mr. Ed Holder (CPC) MP  and  Mr. Joe Preston (CPC) MP

  • For voting against C-389.

  • Failure to support the citizens of their respective constituencies in favour of party/political ideology.

Religious Organizations

  • Too numerous to mention specifically, that these organizations do discriminate against the LGBT community; both overtly and covertly..  These do include "Religious Right" groups such as The Roman Catholic Church, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Mormon), Muslim Churches, Evangelical "Christian" Churches etc. There are also offshoots of these organizations such as Focus on the Family.  Policies of these organizations regarding LGBT should be investigated by any interested parties.
